You’d think that after 40 years…

The manufacturer would have perfected the Rubik’s cube, wouldn’t you?

Inspired by this week’s Google doodle celebrating the anniversary of its invention, I went out and bought one from my friendly neighborhood toy store.

I’m sure I’m not the only person to have found that the instructions in Step 3 are wrong, but since, at time of writing, Google isn’t finding any articles about the misprint, let me share with you what it should have read.

As written: Ui • Li • U • L • U • F • Ui • Fi
Should be: Ui • Fi • U • F • U • R • Ui • Ri

And, forgive the moaning, but you’d also think that they’d have learned to stick the stickers on straight, and not on top of clumps of factory dust, right? Not impressed, Hasbro.
